Managers
  • Organize/host an event or activity for your nurses/unit (see policy guidelines)
    • Moffitt Catering offers Appreciation Packages.
    • If applicable, be sure to include third shift wherever possible.
  • Encourage your staff to participate in the week's activities - and be sure to provide time for them to join in on the fun!
  • Show your appreciation by:
    • Telling your staff how much you appreciate them - in person or by sending them a personal message of thanks using the Oracle Celebrate platform.
    • Nominating someone for a PRIDE Experience Award for going above and beyond while consistently demonstrating our PRIDE Values.
    • Encouraging patients to email a note of appreciation (coming soon).
    • Posting your messages of thanks and team photos on social media (X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) with the hashtag #UCSFNurses and  tag @ucsfhealth, @ucsfchildrens or
